Senior Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)

Role Summary

At SGS we are looking for our new Senior Maintenance Technician for our operations in Pudahuel. If you are a Professional Technician in Industrial Mechanics or have a related career, we invite you to participate in this process.

The main objective of the position is to carry out Preventive and Corrective maintenance of maintenance plans.

Formal studies

• Academic Level: Completed secondary education, Professional Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics or similar
• Training: Mechanical Technician, or similar
• Specialty: Industrial Maintenance / Mechanics

Responsibilities

• Among its functions are
• Carry out Preventive maintenance.
• Carry out corrective maintenance.
• Responsible for giving feedback avoiding stock outages.
• Perform assigned work according to established procedures.
• Comply with safety, quality and environmental protocols.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Manufacturing and assembly of structure.
• Perform corrective maintenance of industrial equipment in all areas that include metallurgy.
• Responsible for following quality, safety and environmental protection standards.
• Technically report the work carried out to support FRACTTAL.
• Train periodically in procedures.
• Comply with preventive maintenance programs.
• Leave backup of the work done.
• Keep your workplace clean and tidy.
• Carry out periodic cleaning of the workshop.
• Keep the warehouses of supplies organized.
• Take care of the tools and machinery in the area.
• Comply with all security protocols established by the company.
• Follow the instructions provided by your management.

Requirements

Position Requirements

• High knowledge in preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Management of asset management platforms.
• Knowledge of tasks related to the position.
• 2 to 3 years of previous and verifiable experience in industrial or related maintenance processes.
