Role Summary
The Electromechanical Maintainer is responsible for executing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities on electromechanical equipment and installations, ensuring their availability, reliability and operational continuity. You must carry out inspections, detect faults, carry out repairs, control the condition of the equipment and record the activities carried out, strictly complying with the quality, safety, occupational health and environmental standards established by SGS Minerals and the principal.
Its functions include the maintenance and diagnosis of Scrubber systems (gas scrubbers), verifying their correct operation, inspecting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components, making adjustments, component changes and preventive and corrective maintenance activities to guarantee adequate emissions control and continuity of operation.
Likewise, it participates in the planning and execution of maintenance, maintains control of spare parts and materials, reports deviations and promotes compliance with the Rules for Life, contributing to safe, efficient operation and in accordance with operational standards.
Requirements
- Complete Secondary Education.
- Intermediate Level Technician Title in Electromechanics or related career.
- Higher Level Technician or Engineering in Mechanics, Electricity, Electromechanics or related specialty is desirable.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or similar fields.
- At least 1 year of experience performing similar functions.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
- Basic knowledge of interpretation of mechanical and electrical plans.
- Handling of manual and electrical tools and measuring instruments.
- Class B Driver's License desirable.
- Health compatible with the position.
- Availability to work on site and travel according to contract requirements.
