Join Flex's Automotive Power Electronics team in Stuttgart and contribute to the development of advanced onboard chargers (OBC), DC/DC converters, and EMI solutions used in leading global automotive programs. You will work alongside experienced engineers in an international environment and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge simulation, modeling, and converter technologies.

What a typical day looks like

Help advance simulation environments for automotive power conversion systems by:- Developing and extending SPICE-based simulation environments for next-gen Onboard Chargers (OBC)

  • Implementing and evaluating different modulation concepts
  • Performing Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) for automotive DC/DC and charging platforms
  • Automating simulation workflows and improving engineering efficiency
  • Supporting design verification and performance optimization activities

The experience we're looking to add to our team:- Enrolled in a master's program (or advanced bachelor's program) in: Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields.

  • Interest in power electronics and electric mobility
  • Initial experience with SPICE simulation (LTspice, pSpice, or similar)
  • Structured and analytical way of working
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Nice to have knowledge of DC/DC converters and resonant converters, Programming (Python, or similar)
