Role Summary

Vattenfall Europe Information Services GmbH offers the possibility as

Working student in the IT sector

to gain practical experience in Hamburg or Berlin.

Vattenfall IT is the internal IT service provider for the entire Vattenfall Group. With around 1,200 employees spread across locations in Germany, Poland, Sweden and the Netherlands, we support Vattenfall's international business with the help of our three organizational units: IT Demand, IT Supply and Group IT.

In order to make your everyday study routine a little more practical, would you like to take advantage of the opportunity and use your theoretical knowledge as a working student in the IT department at Vattenfall? With us you can combine practice with theory and gain experience for your future career. We offer a wide range of IT topics in areas such as cloud, analytics, machine learning, agile working and much more.

Requirements

  • You are an enrolled student at a university or technical college in the fields of computer science, business informatics or comparable
  • You have successfully completed (at least) the second semester
  • You have very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English skills
  • You have solid knowledge of using MS Office
  • You have a distinctive, structured and systematic way of thinking and working
  • You have good communication and cooperation skills as well as a high level of commitment, perseverance and flexibility
  • You work independently and responsibly and have good assertiveness

Benefits

  • Start of operation: by arrangement
  • Duration of deployment: at least 6 or 12 months, extension possible upon agreement
  • Working hours: 16 hours per week, 37 hours per week possible during semester breaks (full-time)
