As a Tender & Bid Manager (all genders), you identify relevant tenders, evaluate their potential for success and manage the entire process from the initial analysis to the timely submission of the offer. You don't see tenders as an administrative process, but rather as an important sales channel for acquiring new customers and markets.
You work closely with sales, presales, product management, marketing and other internal stakeholders, bundle the necessary content and ensure that complex requirements are turned into convincing and competitive offers. With structure, vision and a sense of responsibility, you will successfully complete tenders and actively contribute to the growth of baramundi.

do what you do best
IDENTIFY TENDERINGS AND RECOGNIZE MARKET POTENTIAL You conduct daily research on national and European procurement platforms, identify relevant tenders in the areas of IT management, UEM and cybersecurity and evaluate their chances of success based on defined criteria. You will observe market and procurement trends and identify new business opportunities at an early stage.
CONTROLLING THE ENTIRE BID PROCESS You are responsible for the entire tender process from analyzing the documents to submitting them on time. You coordinate all departments involved, ensure the completeness of the offers and ensure compliance with all formal requirements.
SUPPORT NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES Together with the new business team, you identify sales potential in the public sector. You support bidder discussions, presentations and queries from clients and make an important contribution to acquiring new customers.
CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE QUALITY AND SUCCESS RATE You analyze won and lost tenders, derive recommendations for action and, together with the relevant stakeholders, optimize the quality of the offer and the success rate.
FURTHER DEVELOP TENDER MANAGEMENT You will further develop standards, templates and best practices for tenders, introduce suitable tools and processes and create transparency about the pipeline, participation rates and win rates.
- bring what we value about you:
- Successfully completed vocational training or studies, ideally related to administration, business, sales, IT or project management
- Initial experience in tender management, public procurement, project management, sales or a comparable environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of public procurement procedures and procurement platforms such as TED, Vergabe24, DTVP or comparable systems is desirable
- Knowledge of EVB IT contracts is a plus
- Ideally experience in a software, IT or B2B environment
- Confident use of MS Office and ideally CRM systems
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
