Technical Assistant (m/w/d)

Role Summary

• You will take responsibility for the laboratory analyzes in our company and develop them further:
• Application of molecular biology techniques (PCR, RealTime PCR, fragment length analysis, capillary electrophoresis, etc.)
• DNA preparation from saliva samples and other starting materials
• Collection of traces from crime scene evidence
• Application of high-throughput genotyping techniques using state-of-the-art equipment
• Use of in-house laboratory information technology (LIMS)
• Operation of pipetting robots and capillary sequencers
• Compliance with quality standards according to ISO 17025 and 27001
• Creation of QM documents such as SOPs and validation reports

You may have gained experience in molecular biology (particularly PCR techniques, real-time PCR and fragment length analyses).

Good school knowledge of English makes everyday life in the group easier

A confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and Word) rounds off your profile

Requirements

Basic requirements

• You have completed training as a laboratory technician (m/f/d) or comparable state-recognized assistant training such as CTA, BTA, MTA or PTA
• You have very good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least C1)
