Role Summary

If spreads change, ratings deteriorate or limits are exceeded, more than one notification is needed in the system. What is required is a well-founded risk assessment that makes connections understandable and creates a reliable basis for decision-making.
For an economically strong and value-oriented credit institution, I am looking for support for the back office risk analysis of Depot A. The newly created position is part of a nine-person team and offers you the opportunity to actively shape and further develop the existing analysis and monitoring processes.
Responsibilities
- You analyze the risks of the entire proprietary investment portfolio - including government, bank and corporate bonds as well as high-yield and emerging market positions.
- They evaluate issuers and investments and classify changes in ratings and credit spreads from a technical point of view.
- They comment on non-limited stocks and limit violations and derive necessary measures from this.
- You take on the intensive monitoring of critical investments.
- You independently create votes and decision templates for the responsible committees.
- They ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for trading transactions.
- You maintain existing processes and further develop the methods and processes of risk analysis together with the team.
- The final decision lies with the responsible committees - your analysis and your independent vote form the technical basis for this.
Requirements
- You have completed banking training, a degree in economics or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you already have experience in risk analysis for Depot A.
- Your background in treasury, bank management, risk controlling and securities or credit analysis can be just as interesting.
- You are familiar with ratings, spreads, limits and the regulatory requirements in proprietary business.
- Knowledge of the EGon program is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.
- You work analytically, carefully and independently and can present complex issues clearly and comprehensibly.
- Honesty, willingness to perform, flexibility and the ability to work in a team are not just buzzwords for you, but rather part of your daily collaboration.
- Don't you fully comply with every point? It is crucial that you have the technical basis and the motivation to familiarize yourself with the missing topics.
Benefits
- This is what awaits you
- a permanent position in a stable and growing credit institution
- a technically demanding area of responsibility with a lot of personal responsibility
- a collegial team of nine with short coordination channels
- either the permanent place of work in Cologne or Paderborn
- Mobile working and flexible working hours after training
- Full-time or part-time from 28 hours per week
- 30 days of vacation and additional days off on December 24th and 31st
- an employer-financed company pension plan
- a fully financed Germany ticket
- further additional services in the areas of health, mobility and sport
- In principle, regular attendance days in Paderborn should be possible for you to get started. The activity can then be carried out permanently from the chosen location in Cologne or Paderborn.
- Interest?
- Then I look forward to receiving your CV – happy to include your salary expectations and your earliest possible starting date.
