• Strategy & market development
• Further development of the Space & Defense Consulting strategy for institutional, government and commercial markets
• Analysis of market, technology and regulatory trends as well as relevant programs (e.g. ESA, EU, national actors)
• Identification of capability and supply gaps as well as derivation of new consulting and solution approaches
• Support of go-to-market strategies and positioning of space & defense services along the entire value chain (upstream, midstream and downstream)

Establishing and maintaining relationships with universities, research and development institutions and industrial partner organizations in the established space environment and in the NewSpace sector

• Technical support for political and institutional decision-making processes in the Space & Defense environment
• Consultative market development & opportunity shaping
• Customer approach and support as part of a consultative consulting approach with a focus on needs analysis, target definition and long-term skill development

About the position

To strengthen our Space & Defense Consulting activities in Germany, we are looking for a manager for strategy and market development. In this role, you will work at the interface of strategic consulting, market development and technology-related analysis for institutional, government and commercial customers in the space and defense environment. You support early project and mission phases (e.g. Phase 0/A), carry out market, product and technology analyzes and develop reliable value propositions. The aim of the position is to anticipate and actively shape future market and capability needs at an early stage - not just to pursue existing business opportunities. You will work closely with the Sopra Steria defense team. CS Group is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria; Both companies cooperate closely and bring complementary competencies.
