Site Security Manager - Datacenter, 80k - 85k p.a. (m/w/d)

Role Summary

The Security Team Leader (STM) serves as the day-to-day manager of an on-site security team. The STM is responsible for building a cohesive and high-performing team. Reports directly to the Campus Safety Director and works collaboratively with other campus safety team leaders to ensure a safe environment. Additional duties may include customer support and troubleshooting, service improvement, security operations center (SOC) maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights management.

• Ensuring all responders and control room managers adhere to policies and standard operating procedures
• Monitors on-site security systems to ensure safe and compliant operation of the facility
• Assumes the role of responder or control room supervisor during times of increased activity or when staff are absent
• Maintains on-site security and troubleshoots
• Recommends corrective actions for security personnel to the campus security officer
• Assists in conducting advisory and remedial actions as directed by the Campus Safety Manager
• Assists with on-site equipment inspection and audit compliance
• Conducts recall audits, prepares and reports critical and confidential information directly to the customer's management team
• Maintains required safety documentation and ensures its accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Serves as the primary point of contact for data center management and security personnel when the Campus Manager Security Manager is unavailable
• On-call duty once a month

Requirements

Expertise test according to §34a GewO.

• 3+ years of experience in people management
• Extensive experience in dealing with international customers
• Experience preferably in a data center environment
• Experience supervising, training and assessing/evaluating employees
• Experience in using security technologies (CCTV, access control systems, incident management software, video surveillance systems)
• Stress resistance, flexibility, process strength, sense of responsibility
• Communicative talent and hands-on mentality, strong operational ability, resilience and technical competence
• Organizational talent with the ability to work in a team as well as individually
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German as well as knowledge of English (C1)
• Safe use of MS Office programs
• Car driving license class B
