Service technician (m/f/d) USV region NRW - Hesse

Your core task will be to provide service for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to customers in the designated region and occasionally within the NRW - Hesse region. The focus is on assembly, commissioning, repair, maintenance and retrofit work within the framework of service contracts, customer orders and quality campaigns at customers' sites, which you drive to directly from home.

Responsibilities

• Intensive customer support in the customer service area
• Securing existing customer contacts
• Telephone troubleshooting to determine the current status in the event of a malfunction in his area of representation"
• Assembly and commissioning of UPS systems
• Error analysis and troubleshooting
• Repair and maintenance of electronic components
• Processing customer complaints
• Maintenance of Eaton UPS systems according to factory specifications
• Spare parts organization and independent deployment planning in the assigned representation area
• Careful documentation of the activities carried out
• Carrying out customer training on site

Requirements

• Completed electrical engineering training with professional experience in the field of electrical engineering, especially in the area of low-voltage networks up to 400 VAC
• Good knowledge of UPS products and service experience

Skills

• Customers receive technical instruction, for example when familiarizing themselves with the UPS systems and explaining the functions of the various products.
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility combined with customer-oriented thinking
• Familiar with using a PC and common office software
• Successful independent implementation of delegated tasks or projects
• Teamwork and customer-oriented demeanor
• Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• Flexibility and willingness to travel (up to 75%)
