As Team Lead Technical Service (m/f/d) at Leica Biosystems, you are responsible for managing, leading, coaching and mentoring the service team in the specified region. They support the professional development, professional behavior as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of employees and promote the service business area.
Other tasks include work organization, project control, escalation management, after-sales management and KPI goal achievement.
This position is part of the Technical Service in DACH and will be completely remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

Requirements
In this function you have the option
- Management, coaching, mentoring and support of a team of approx. 16 service technicians
- Conducting customer visits, assisting field technicians with daily activities, preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, telephone support and upgrades to ensure superior customer care
- Achieving sales utilization targets and all other KPIs established annually
- Ensuring relevant Danaher Business System tools are used to drive process improvements using KPIs and targets.
- Further development of robust daily management and participation in Kaizen events, if desired.
- Routinely apply problem-solving processes to implement root cause and countermeasures when necessary.
The essential requirements of the position include
- Demonstrated experience or ability to work in a leadership role
- Commercial drive to run the service profitably
- Proven success in using and implementing KPIs for the service
- Ability to drive and increase customer satisfaction
- Ability to prioritize team workload to maximize efficiency
- Fluent German language skills with strong communication skills and good knowledge of spoken and written English
- It would be an advantage if you also have experience in the following areas:
- Knowledge of SFDC reporting and tools
