Become part of our team as our new senior specialist in telecommunications (TK) for railway infrastructure projects (m/f/d) and do your part to work for a future worth living.

As our new senior TK specialist planner (m/f/d) for railway infrastructure projects, you will support us in a variety of railway infrastructure projects and help shape the transport transition.

Your main tasks will be

Planning (new construction / conversion and expansion) of demanding telecommunications projects in service phases 1 to 5 and, if necessary, service phases 6 to 7

Planning, modernization and renewal of telecommunications systems with different technologies (e.g. fiber optic cables, transmission technology, KISA, DBMAS, EMA/BMA, HOA, etc.)

Creation of technical planning documents for the HOAI service phases

Coordination in the projects with the internal and external specialist planners of relevant trades such as control and safety technology, traffic systems, bridges, etc.

  • Preparation of explanatory reports and calculations for planning in the respective performance phases
  • Qualitative and quantitative inventory and evaluation of existing systems including site visits
  • Participation in project management in planning (dates, costs, resources), supporting the project management in fulfilling their tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with the relevant laws, regulations, standards and regulations in the development of planning
  • Participation in interface management, partly using BIM
  • Presentation of the project results to the team, to the customer and, if necessary, to the public

You will be part of our systems department for the railway equipment trades at Ramboll Germany and an important part of our telecommunications planning team there. We support the challenges of the transport transition through our commitment to more than 3,200 experts in the field of transport and rail transport worldwide. The Ramboll team in Germany will be further expanded and expanded over the next few years in order to bring in the diverse experiences from regional, national and international projects (example: Fehmarnbelt underpass between Denmark and Germany - the world's longest tunnel for rail and car traffic).

  • For the position as a senior technical planner, you should also have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering or information technology
  • Professional experience in telecommunications planning or in the specialist area of telecommunications
  • Very good knowledge of the areas of HOAI, VOB as well as the valid legal regulations and relevant DB regulations
  • Experience with awarding planning services and preparing offers
  • Confident handling of the relevant software systems (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Office, iTWO)
  • Technical and commercial understanding
  • Interest in complex tasks and networking
  • Self-drive, reliability and solution-oriented way of working
  • Enjoy working in a structured manner and in a team and passing on your specialist knowledge when necessary
  • Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
