Role Summary
- Accounting Manager | U.S. GAAP, Multi-Client Accounting & Financial Operations – Remote | LATAM

- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
At Pavago , one of our clients is hiring an experienced Accounting Manager to join a rapidly growing U.S.-based accounting and advisory firm founded by professionals with backgrounds in private equity and investment banking.
This is a high-ownership, client-facing accounting role for someone who can independently manage financial operations across multiple U.S.-based clients.
Analyze financial performance and identify

Support clients with

- Understand U.S. GAAP and full-cycle accounting

- What a Typical Day Looks Like
You may
- Review accounting activity across multiple client accounts
- Complete month-end close tasks and reconciliations
- Review AP, AR, and general ledger activity
- Process or review payroll
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Complete sales tax reporting requirements
- Analyze client financial performance
- Meet with business owners to explain results and answer questions
- Update budgets, forecasts, and custom reports
- Improve accounting workflows and documentation

Responsibilities
You’ll own key functions including
- Month-end close
- U.S. GAAP financial reporting
- AP/AR and reconciliations
- Payroll
- U.S. sales tax compliance
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Process improvement
- Client financial communication
- This is not a basic bookkeeping role. You’ll work directly with business owners, helping them understand their financial performance while ensuring their accounting operations remain accurate, compliant, and organized.

Multi-Client Accounting & Month-End Close
Own month-end close processes across multiple U.S.-based client accounts
Manage
- Accounts payable (AP)
- Accounts receivable (AR)
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- General ledger activities
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Ensure client books remain clean, organized, and reporting-ready
- Manage multiple accounting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
- Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Manage employee setup and onboarding within payroll systems
Work with platforms such as
- Gusto
- ADP
- Paylocity
- Prepare and file U.S. state sales tax returns
- Maintain supporting documentation for payroll and compliance requirements
- Ensure deadlines and regulatory requirements are consistently met
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate financial reporting packages for clients

- Accounting Experience
- 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience
- Strong experience supporting multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Full-cycle accounting experience
