Role Summary
Position objective: Operate treatment plant, carry out water and sludge sampling activities based on the operating procedures for monitoring the water quality required by the client.
Physicochemical analysis of water
- Filter press unloading
- Sampling
- Osmosis and chemical cleaning
- Basic maintenance tasks
Responsibilities
- Channel review
- Solids measurement
- Measurement of total suspended solids
- Measurement of channel tie parameters
- Start and stop of pumps
- General cleaning of the area
- Customer service
Requirements
- Degree in chemical engineering, bachelor's degree in chemistry or related fields
- Knowledge in physicochemical analysis and sampling
- Knowledge of general logical and mathematical thinking
- Experience operating treatment plants
- Availability to work rotating shifts
- High capacity for analysis, initiative and process control
- Knowledge of laboratory instruments
- Chemical inventory
- WWTP general operation
- Sludge management
- Maintenance and cleaning work
