Resource Manager (m/w/d) – Consulting

Role Summary

• The focus is on the holistic control of internal resource and capacity management within the vertical industries
• A key focus is on planning, controlling and optimizing the utilization of consultants across ongoing and planned projects
• The active scheduling of internal and external resources takes place in close coordination with project, department and vertical management
• You support short and medium-term personnel and operational planning and analyze bench and free capacities in order to derive suitable measures
• You contribute your expertise on resource availability and skill matching to offer and project inquiries
• The basis for well-founded decisions is the creation, maintenance and interpretation of utilization and forecast reports
• You act as a central interface between business, delivery, HR, recruiting and management

When analyzing existing resource management processes, you identify automation potential and actively drive improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

This role does not require regular business travel. You can carry out your tasks primarily from our office or remotely

A completed degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable course of study forms your professional basis

Several years of professional experience in the consulting environment, ideally related to resource, project or portfolio management, forms the professional basis for this role

A very good understanding of consulting and project structures as well as a strong IT affinity enable you to quickly orientate yourself in complex customer, project and system contexts

• You already have experience in managing near and offshore resources as well as subcontractors and can confidently use this in various project constellations
• A confident and convincing communicative demeanor at all management levels is one of your personal strengths
• You impress in your daily project work through an analytical and structured way of working as well as a high level of reliability
• Strong organizational and coordination skills help you to confidently manage parallel tasks and coordination
• Solid skills in the digitization/automation of operational processes as well as AI-supported workflows
• You have very good knowledge of MS Excel; Experience with scheduling or resource management tools is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German (from C1 level) and good knowledge of English round off your profile
• Further training: extensive technical and methodological training including certifications as well as diverse development prospects within the company
