Responsibilities

Objective

• Help maintain the quality standards required for AguP's product.
• Ensure that all products under your responsibility are controlled during all stages of production, in accordance with Bosch design standards and our customers' specifications/requirements.
• Give feedback to other departments in AguP.
• Support and contribute to efforts to continually improve.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions in conjunction with other AguP departments.
• Manage assigned resources effectively.

Specific Functions

• Lead internal quality issues and fully support customer quality issues.
• Ensure the correct implementation of engineering/process changes on the lines under responsibility, using Bosch change management procedures.
• Control the areas of Non-Conforming Material (identified in the process or returned by the client), define its correct disposition and ensure its correct execution.
• Implement corrective actions / Participate in IQIS teams.
• Establish and document effective containment activities.
• Document corrective actions applied.
• Validate/verify that corrective actions are implemented and executed effectively.
• Coordinate activities for associates classified as hourly in AguP/QMM2.
• Administration of the Product Audit Area.
• Control of Non-Conforming Material.
• Teardown analysis.
• Process and Product Audits.
• Develop inspection instructions for new models, based on the FMEA process and the Control Plan.
• Develop Inspection Test Methods for new devices in conjunction with AguP/MFE and AguP/QMM6. Ensure that they meet the minimum Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) requirements.
• Review and approve the operating instructions (SWI's) developed by AguP/MFE.
• Support for special production runs; for example: PTRs, Run @ Rates, Prototype Builds. As required.
• Maintain updated quality documentation of the lines/products under your responsibility (e.g. control plan, DCS, ITM, etc.).
• Develop, review, approve and effectively implement Quality Alerts.
• Development and implementation of systematic improvements derived from the organization's strategies.
• Ensure correct quality planning in the Launch of New Products.
• Other activities that are identified by management.
