Role Summary

• You provide psychological and psychotherapeutic support to geriatric patients during their inpatient or day-care stay
• They carry out differentiated cognitive and affective diagnostics and support the clarification of dementia and depression symptoms
• You apply standardized test procedures such as MMSE, Uhrentest, DemTect and CERAD-Plus and interpret the results in a clinical context
• Together with the interdisciplinary treatment team, you develop individual therapy and rehabilitation concepts
• They advise relatives and support patients in coping with their illness
• You will actively participate in complex geriatric treatment and bring your psychological expertise into case discussions
• They professionally document diagnostic and therapeutic results and prepare psychological statements

Requirements

• Completed degree in psychology (diploma or master)
• Professional experience in a hospital is an advantage
• Ideally licensed to practice medicine as a psychologist or psychotherapist
• High social skills and emotional resilience
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Commitment, ability to work in a team and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
