Role Summary
As an innovative and future-oriented company, we at Drees & Sommer act as a solution provider for highly complex projects and an integral partner in the planning and implementation of industrial sites in the sectors of semiconductor and battery cell production, automotive, life sciences, chemistry and power plant and process technology. We provide the design of the technical systems and buildings in-house, as well as all other services in the project's value chain.
In the course of modular planning for highly complex EPCM projects, we are looking for you and your enthusiasm for the topics of modular planning, space management, digitalization and system integration.
Project planning and planning of large-scale projects based on holistic modular planning approaches as well as coordination of the planning disciplines within complex general planning and EPCM projects
Creation of building grids, sets of rules and modular planning kits as a regulatory framework for other planning participants
Analysis and transfer of project-specific requirements (user requirements) into standardized spatial and functional programs as a planning guide for modular building design
Independent development of type-based execution details and construction modules in coordination with interdisciplinary planning teams
Advice on the BIM process regarding modular building data models and digital chains from the project initiation phase to the handover of the digital documentation to the company
Content and organizational management responsibility for expert planning teams in the area of modular planning as well as sparring partners and consultants for internal and external planning participants
Requirements
- Completed studies in architecture, civil engineering, building technology or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in planning projects in an industrial environment (especially after HOAI performance phase 5), knowledge of modular planning is an advantage
- generalist knowledge of the entire planning process and the different planning skills (architecture, TGA, building physics, facade planning, etc.)
- Enthusiasm for all topics and trends related to modular planning, digitalization, space management and system integration
- Knowledge of BIM methodology and one or more digital planning tools (Autodesk Revit, Microstation, Vectorworks or comparable software) is an advantage
- Solution-oriented negotiation skills and a good feel for people and issues, coupled with the joy of working in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
- Willingness to undertake occasional project-related travel
