Project manager (f/m/d) construction and infrastructure

Role Summary

Do you not only want to manage projects, but also actively shape them? Do you come from construction management or construction management, know the dynamics on the construction site and at the same time keep an eye on the big picture? Then bring your experience to our motivated team in our project team in Saarbrücken as soon as possible!

We manage complex projects across all performance phases and combine strategic project management with operational implementation in the infrastructural and construction-related environment. The focus of this role is on project management with a technical focus, particularly with regard to geological issues and their structural implementation. We are looking for a personality with a hands-on mentality who takes responsibility, actively manages interfaces and helps shape new challenges at Drees & Sommer.

• Control and support of infrastructure-related projects across all project phases
• Operational participation in planning and execution with a clear presence in the construction process
• Responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality over the course of the project
• Coordination and control of internal and external project participants such as construction companies, authorities and clients
• Ensuring compliance with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements
• Preparation, implementation and follow-up of coordination, construction meetings and decision-making processes
• Transparent communication and regular reporting to clients and other stakeholders
• Support in the further development of processes and technologies in the area of infrastructural development

Requirements

• Completed studies in civil engineering, geotechnics, geology, infrastructure management or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in construction management, construction supervision or project management of construction projects
• Generalistic understanding of construction projects and enjoyment of interdisciplinary project work
• Strong hands-on mentality and the ability to advance topics independently
• Confident appearance and strong presentation skills when dealing with clients and project partners
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high level of personal responsibility
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German
• Class B driving license and project-related mobility
