Role Summary
About complori
Complori inspires children and young people about programming, AI and digital future topics. Teaching takes place in small live online courses on complori – our platform for courses, mentoring and tutoring.
complori is offered by companies as a benefit for their employees: parents receive an offer that really helps their children get ahead, and we reach children who would otherwise not have access to such offers.
You turn an online group lesson into an experience that the children look forward to every week.
Responsibilities
- You teach children and young people (7-16 years old) live online in small groups - from Scratch to Python and web development to AI basics.
- You take on fixed weekly course slots over a period of 6-12 months (60 minutes each).
- You work with prepared teaching materials and lesson plans - you don't have to do the planning yourself.
- You accompany the children individually, give feedback and briefly document their learning progress.
- You bring in your observations from class and help us to further develop material and didactics.
Requirements
- You are enrolled (working student status), preferably in a MINT-related subject from the 2nd semester.
- You have mastered the basics of at least one programming language – Python preferred; Experience with Scratch, JavaScript or Unity is a plus.
- You enjoy working with children. Experience from tutoring, holiday camps, youth work, sports clubs or music schools is expressly welcome.
- You are available for at least 12 hours per week (max. 20 hours/week) in the time window from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – and reliable throughout the course duration. Up to 20 hours per week are possible during lecture periods, and more during semester breaks if desired.
- You speak German at C2 level.
- You have a stable internet connection, a laptop with a camera and microphone and a quiet, undisturbed workplace during the course times.
- Before your first course, you submit an extended certificate of good conduct and sign our code of conduct for the protection of children and young people.
What we offer you
- €15.00 gross per hour – onboarding, training and 20 minutes of preparation/follow-up are also remunerated.
- 20 days of paid vacation per calendar year (for a 5-day week, prorated based on your hours).
- 100% remote and flexible planning: You decide before each course season how many courses you will take on.
- Structured onboarding, didactic training and a permanent contact person in the coach team.
- Ready-made course materials, lesson plans and technical infrastructure – you can concentrate on teaching.
- Small groups and motivated children whose parents have consciously chosen the offer.
- A community of around 50 coaches: exchange and peer feedback
- Perspective on more responsibility – e.g. B. as a lead coach, in onboarding new coaches or in course development.
- A job that pays off on your CV and in real life: You deepen your specialist knowledge and build presentation, moderation and leadership skills.
