PreMaster Program - GapYear - Bosch Production System and Industrial Engineering with a focus on digitalization

Role Summary

Our PreMaster program is a two-stage qualification program for committed Bachelor graduates who aim to complete a Master's degree. After completing your bachelor's degree, the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience to get to know the technical and business context. The second phase includes the independent master's degree at a college/university of your choice. During this period there will be further events and seminars as well as personal support from a mentor on the way to your degree. During your studies, you also have the opportunity to contribute to the company as a student employee.

As a participant in our PreMaster program, you are a member of our Industrial Engineering team. You form the important interface between our specialist department and the digitalization group in the factory.

Specifically, you will support various projects such as data analysis and data preparation as a basis for system improvements, the creation of new or optimization of existing Power BI reports, programming in low-code environments and the provision of standardized data in a dashboard for daily morning meetings in production.

In addition, you create evaluations of production key figures and ensure comprehensive transparency based on numbers, data and facts.

You support the further development of tools with a focus on productivity optimization.

You will work on the implementation of the MES system SAP DM and support the preparation for the switch to SAP S4/Hana.

During the PreMaster program you have the opportunity to gain experience in other groups and departments or value streams.

We are looking for open-minded and curious talents who would like to gain initial experience in the field of manufacturing and digitalization.

Requirements

• Education: Above-average degree (bachelor's degree) in the field of industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable course of study and the aim of taking up a master's degree
• Personality and way of working: initiative, responsible work, quick comprehension and good communication skills, enthusiastic, motivated, independent, team player, solution-oriented and structured

Experience and know-how: initial experience as part of internships in a manufacturing company, routine use of Microsoft Office products. Ideally, you already have programming knowledge in NodeJs or another common programming language. Experience with databases, especially SQL, gives you an additional advantage. Knowledge of Power BI is desirable
