Role Summary

For our PreMaster program we are looking for committed bachelor's graduates who want to combine the theory of a master's degree with business practice.

Responsibilities

The following specialist tasks await you

  • As part of the PreMaster program, you will be involved in the development of our eBike Drive Units.
  • You support development activities such as construction, patent research, design, parts procurement and sample creation.
  • In addition, you will accompany tests and trials on prototypes and evaluate test results.
  • You will work closely with related areas such as simulation, project management and product management and gain valuable experience for your subsequent master's degree.

Requirements

Education: Very well completed bachelor's degree, ideally in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or automotive engineering with a focus on product development, construction technology or measurement technology, or in a comparable course of study, as well as the specific intention to subsequently take up a master's degree.

Experience and know-how: Initial experience in working with suppliers as well as in setting up test and measuring stands, in commissioning and carrying out measurements is desirable; Experience in the bicycle industry, for example with component suppliers, assembly companies, frame manufacturers or OEMs, is an advantage.

  • Qualification: Good knowledge of the CAD tool ProE/Creo/Solidworks, ANSYS, Matlab, CANape, MS Office.
  • Personality and way of working: Very high intrinsic motivation as well as strong analytical skills, a flexible, solution- and team-oriented way of working and very good intercultural communication skills at all levels of the organization and across different departments.
  • Enthusiasm: High affinity for bicycles.
  • Languages: Fluent written and spoken German and English.
