Role Summary

DateYork is part of P&W Love Events GmbH and has been bringing people together in real life since 2011. We organize speed dating events as well as modern single parties, walks and special event formats under our You and Mee brand in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

What sets us apart: We are a growing, modern event company with short decision-making processes, a lot of personal responsibility and always new projects. With us, you don't just handle personnel processes - you help ensure that special events and real encounters take place in numerous cities.

Sound like you?

Then we look forward to getting to know you. It's not important to us that your CV is perfect - it's that you want to take on responsibility, work with people and make a difference together with us.

Responsibilities

  • With us, you don't just manage staff - you make sure that our events take place and that the right people are on site.
  • You find and recruit new moderators, event guides and event staff for our events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • You conduct job interviews on the phone, get to know different people and quickly develop a feeling for who really suits us.
  • You will independently take over personnel planning for our events - from the first inquiry to the final appointment.
  • You stick with it: you make phone calls, write, follow up and make sure that open positions don't remain open.
  • If someone cancels at short notice, you don't wait for a solution - you find one.
  • You will look after our existing event staff, coordinate operations and ensure that everyone receives all important information and briefings in a timely manner.
  • You will continually expand our personnel pool so that we can quickly rely on good and reliable people, even in new cities.
  • You will take responsibility for staffing our larger You and Me events - from our regular formats to highlights such as Halloween and New Year's Eve.
  • What is important to us: You like working independently, are quick, committed and want to see what you have achieved at the end of your working day. With us you get responsibility and the freedom to really advance your area.

Requirements

  • What counts for us is not the perfect CV, but your attitude: you enjoy working, taking on responsibility and want to achieve something.
  • You have a very confident command of spoken and written German and can formulate professional, friendly emails independently.
  • You enjoy talking on the phone and approach different people openly, sympathetically and confidently.
  • You are absolutely reliable and obliging. If you take on something, we can count on it getting done.
  • You work independently, think for yourself and actively look for solutions to problems instead of waiting for the next instruction.
  • You work quickly and with concentration, stick with it and strive to actually complete your tasks.
  • You are well organized and keep track of multiple events, cities and contacts.
  • You have a good feel for people and can assess who is reliable and suitable for our events.
  • You are digitally fit and quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and processes.
  • Experience in recruiting, human resources, event management, customer service or sales is an advantage - but not a must.
  • What counts for us in the end: You are someone we can rely on, who not only takes on responsibility, but actually carries it, and who is keen to build something together with us.

Benefits

  • 100% remote and location independent: Work where you are best. In principle, working from abroad is also possible upon agreement.
  • A fixed 3-day week: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • €17 gross per hour for 18 hours per week.
  • Real responsibility instead of occupational therapy: You get your own area and the freedom to organize it independently.
  • You work directly with the management: short channels, quick decisions, clear feedback and a lot of trust when you take on responsibility.
  • Direct communication and as few unnecessary meetings or complicated structures as possible.
  • A varied everyday working life around people, dating, events and always new projects.
  • The opportunity to contribute your own ideas, improve processes and visibly make a difference.
  • A long-term collaboration in a growing company with the opportunity to take on more responsibility and hours if things develop well.
