Role Summary
- We are seeking an experienced
- People Partner
- to join our Human Resources team at our Fyshwick, ACT office on a full-time basis
. This is a strategic management position that plays a pivotal role in supporting our internal operations and fostering a positive workplace culture. As People Partner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive human resources services across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees alike. This role is essential to ensuring our company maintains its competitive edge through effective people management, talent development, and the successful implementation of HR initiatives that drive organisational success. Please note: Due to the nature of our work, WFH is not available.
Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership and department heads to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR advice to support the achievement of organisational goals
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers on people management matters, including performance management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution
- Develop and deliver employee development programmes, training initiatives, and succession planning strategies
- Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace issues, ensuring fairness and consistency
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Monitor employee engagement and wellbeing, identifying opportunities to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar strategic HR management role within an internal HR function
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and workplace relations legislation
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Proven track record in talent acquisition and recruitment process management
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective HR initiatives and programmes
