Online Lecturer: Digital Project Management & AI - remote, part-time (15h/w)

Role Summary

The Digital Business Academy (DBA) prepares career changers for a career in digital project management and AI in an intensive 7-month full-time program.

Participants learn to work with leading PM tools such as Jira and Asana and implement their knowledge in daily practical projects. We offer a world-class learning experience and are looking for committed talent who are ready to take on this challenge.

Our Remote-First course allows you to work flexibly from home.

Responsibilities

Lecturer activity: Deliver committed and practical 1.5-hour lectures daily on the latest tools and methods in project management. You will use our ready-made lecture materials and bring them to life with your own examples and tasks. The activity is scheduled for 15 hours per week (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily).

• Curriculum development: You will refine the existing curriculum as well as the associated lectures, exercises and the manual.
• Team leadership: You form the head of a team with 3 tutors, who take over every day after the lecture and support the participants in their practical work. You coordinate your team of tutors and are in close contact with them in order to keep an eye on the learning progress of each participant.
• Ownership: You are responsible for the performance of the participants in your module. Accordingly, you should respond dynamically to the progress and pace of the group and not rigidly follow the teaching concept.

Requirements

• Industry knowledge: You have in-depth experience in project management, know classic and agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban and are confident in using tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• AI competence: You follow the latest AI tools and developments with enthusiasm, deal with them independently and actively integrate them into your teaching.
• Passion for education: Your passion lies in teaching and developing talent and introducing them to the world of project management.
• Leadership experience: Ideally, you have led a team or had significant project responsibility in previous roles.
• Communication skills: You are an excellent speaker who creates captivating and interactive lectures every day and brings in your own practical experience.
• Knowledge of German: You have knowledge of German at a native speaker level.
