Role Summary

Demonstrate your know-how and become part of our team for the Eastern region as MSL Solid Tumors (all genders)

With fresh ideas and a great deal of communication talent, you will be the medical contact for the scientific experts, plan a variety of training projects and lead them to success as the manager of your region.

Specifically, this means

  • Contact person at eye level in scientific exchange with opinion leaders in the indication area of gynecological oncology in the region
  • Management of one's own area with the aim of helping to shape and further develop the scientific therapeutic landscape
  • Scientific support for the introduction of innovative products
  • Initiation and support of regional/national projects as well as studies at selected centers in the private sector and in clinics
  • Implementation of regional medical education activities as well as planning and implementation of satellite symposiums
  • Creation and presentation of specialist lectures
  • Planning and implementation of regional advisory boards
  • Answering medical-scientific questions about AbbVie products in the area
  • Close cooperation with other infield functions in gynecological oncology

Requirements

This is how you make the difference

  • Successfully completed medical or scientific university studies, ideally a doctorate
  • Required expertise in accordance with Section 75 of the Medicines Act
  • Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry and ideally proven expertise in oncology
  • Strong communication skills with different conversation partners in an interdisciplinary environment
  • High degree of personal responsibility as well as entrepreneurial thinking and experience in project work
  • Curiosity and desire to create
  • Innovative thinking also in relation to multichannel communication approaches
  • Team player with experience in cross-functional collaboration
  • Very good knowledge of English

R&D Process Engineering Organization, a part of AbbVie’s Development Sciences organization, is responsible for designing and developing scalable processes to make drug substances and drug products, including synthetics molecules, antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and genetic medicines, throughout pre-clinical and clinical development stages. Process Engineering also partners with Biologics CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) Development and Aesthetics R&D functions to provide active engineering support to enable robust process scale-up and manufacturing of biologics drug substances and drug products including toxins and cosmetic active ingredients (CAIs). It drives the development of innovative engineering technologies and creates valuable intellectual property through the composition of matter and chemical/bio-chemical processes resulting in cost-effective commercial manufacturing processes for quality products.
