Mechanical Technician

Role Summary

Experience maintaining concentrator plant equipment, includes cleaning, checking for worn parts, and repairing or replacing as necessary.

Experience in assembly and disassembly of concentrator plant equipment.

Transmission system maintenance and alignment.

Maintenance of flotation cells, change of rotor, stator and inspection of dart valves.

Knowledge of mill alignment with dial indicator or laser equipment.

Disassembly, assembly and maintenance of horizontal centrifugal pumps (Warman, Hidrostal, Goulds, etc.)

Trotting and marking according to the reducer adjustment bolt table.

Perform jacketing of transfer chutes (leinner, lifter and chrysler change)

Change of oil/pipes to the equipment.

Change of pulleys, load, impact and return idlers.

Change of panels in vibrating screens.

Change of valves from 2” to 12” piloted.

Changing the Spout Feeder in the scrubber drum.

Maintenance of ball mill hydraulic units.

Maintenance of vertical and horizontal pulp pumps.

Review and maintenance of instruments.

Review and maintenance of the electrical installations of the equipment.

Maintenance of filter presses.

Requirements

• Mechanical Technician of industrial plants, Automotive Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, etc.
• Management of equipment manuals.
• Use of mechanical equipment and tools.
• 4 years of experience in plant shutdowns
