Role Summary

As part of your master's thesis, you will model electric drive systems and integrate innovative AI methods.

You develop new control and learning methods for electric drives by combining machine learning with model-based approaches.

You will focus on the design of highly dynamic controls that also take into account the estimation of unknown system behavior.

You will then implement and validate the new procedures precisely in MATLAB and Simulink.

Finally, you will apply the developed control system simulatively to a robotics application.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in electrical engineering, technical cybernetics, engineering or comparable
  • Experience and know-how: in system dynamics and control technology; Confident use of MATLAB and Simulink
  • Personality and way of working: you work independently and in a structured manner on complex issues, actively contribute as a reliable team player and like to take the initiative
  • Languages: very good German and English
