Role Summary
During your internship, you will design, develop and optimize reports and dashboards to precisely control logistical processes, while ensuring data preparation and quality assurance.
You will actively participate in the integration and migration of data from Oracle into modern data platforms such as Databricks and design suitable data structures.
You will help shape the transformation of reporting from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA and contribute your own optimization and digitalization ideas.
In addition, you develop and optimize applications and independently create automation solutions to improve logistical and administrative processes.
You support the development and introduction of practical AI use cases and develop guidelines and training content for employees and managers.
Last but not least, you will take on projects independently, from gathering requirements with internal customers through conception and implementation to sustainable support and further development.
Requirements
- Education: Studies in the field of business informatics, computer science, applied computer science, data science, data analytics, industrial engineering with a focus on IT, logistics, data analysis or comparable with good academic achievements
- Experience and know-how: Basic understanding of data analysis and data structures; initial knowledge of SQL, databases or similar technologies; Initial practical experience in dealing with data is an advantage
- Personality and way of working: you are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics; You work independently and approach tasks in a structured manner
- Everyday work: your presence on site is required (mobile working on fixed days possible by arrangement)
- Enthusiasm: Interest in reporting, data visualization and analytical work
- Languages: business fluent German and very good English
