Job Overview
Job description
- Location:
- Renningen, BW, Germany
- Work arrangement:
- On-site
Role Summary
In our team we deal with remanufacturing as a sub-area of the circular economy. The dismantling of end-of-life products is a central aspect here. Work instructions for manual dismantling can be issued via an Operator Guided Instruction System (OGIS). The aim is to create this OGIS automatically based on a CAD model and a disassembly sequence.
In this exciting role, you will develop a powerful Python pipeline for clearly visualizing disassembly sequences directly from CAD data.
You are responsible for choosing the most suitable visualization tool, using modern interfaces such as the Teamcenter API, PLM Vis WEB or ParaView.
Here you will design a clever strategy to display different views of component groups in the CAD model via the pipeline and highlight the components to be dismantled.
For seamless data mapping, you will develop a structured approach to harmonize component IDs between the CAD model and the manufacturing data.
Finally, you use Streamlit to design a user-friendly graphical interface that allows the user to intuitively control the entire pipeline.
