WHAT THE PROGRAM LOOKS LIKE

Our program consists of leadership training, development tools and store operations, and is a combination of practical training in our stores and theoretical knowledge. You will work and train in cooperation with other trainees, trainers and your mentor.

• Practical training takes place in one of the training shops
• Five field trip modules including: theoretical training, role playing, group work, team building
• Between modules, you train under the supervision of the store manager - mentor through: practical training, coaching and feedback
• The program ends with an exam and certification

The main goal of the Store Manager Trainee program at JYSK is to professionally prepare trainees to run their own store.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Readiness to take full responsibility for your own development and for the JYSK store in the future
• Experience in leading, motivating and developing a team (trade experience preferred)
• Communication skills that support the creation of a positive atmosphere in the workplace
• Highly motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to work and make decisions in a dynamic environment and in difficult situations
• Ready to work during the opening hours of our stores, including on Saturdays and commercial Sundays
