Role Summary
Management and implementation of demanding projects in the area of bank control and risk management with a focus on the implementation of regulatory requirements and the optimization of processes and IT systems
Analysis and design of control and risk management processes and governance structures as well as identification of potential for improvement, including with regard to the efficient implementation of regulatory requirements
Development and distribution of innovative service offerings in collaboration with colleagues to expand the business and product portfolio as well as active management of market development and project acquisition
Disciplinary and professional leadership and development of consultants and project teams
Creation and presentation of technical concepts, offers and decision templates
Advising our customers on the topics of bank control and risk management or on the topics of operational risk, market risk including interest rate risk in the banking book, credit risk, liquidity risk and ESG risks
Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home
Requirements
- Completed studies in (business) computer science, mathematics, economics or a comparable degree
- At least 5 years of practical experience in risk controlling at a bank and/or in corresponding projects at a consulting firm or auditing firm
- Very good knowledge of the regulatory requirements for bank control and risk management (CRR, CRD, CSRD, BCBS239, IRRBB, ICAAP/ILAAP, MaRisk, BAIT, DORA and/or ESG risk management requirements)
- Proven success in a position with sales responsibility and long-term customer relationships
- Extensive experience in managing and controlling (sub-)projects
- Very good knowledge of project management methods and a high IT affinity
- MS Office knowledge, especially good PowerPoint and very good Excel skills
- Good knowledge of German (from B2 level) and knowledge of English round off your profile
