Maintenance Operator (f/m/d)

Role Summary

Operation of systems in the wafer test and the final test.

Perform selected preventative maintenance tasks (mechanical and electronic service) on assigned assets.

Carrying out maintenance and set-up work on all systems, including:

Setting up workstations

Converting/setting up wafer probers, including changing probe cards.

Converting/setting up handlers.

Converting/setting up/calibrating scanners.

Exchange of needle cards.

Check and, if necessary, repair the ESD protective equipment.

Verification of compliance with system parameters and initiation of corrective measures in the event of deviations.

Release of systems after maintenance measures.

Documentation of the work carried out.

Supervision of installation and maintenance operations by external service employees.

Represent the senior operator when required.

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical vocational training (mechatronics or a similar field) or at least 2-3 years of professional experience in the operating/maintenance area, preferably testing area.
• Basic knowledge of the equipment in the area of responsibility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing and process flows in the area of wafer and final testing.
• In-depth knowledge of the MES system and relevant manufacturing applications.
• Ability to record and document system states.
• Strong knowledge and experience in operating systems in the area of wafer/final testing.
• Basic knowledge of automotive standards, especially IATF 16949.
• Independent, committed way of working with a high level of commitment.
• Familiarity with PC software, particularly MS Office.
• Quick decision-making both independently and in a team.
• Strong sense of responsibility and quality.
• Good communication skills, teamwork and coordination skills.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and basic knowledge of the English language, especially for understanding system messages.
