Laboratory assistant / technical assistance (m/f/d) for food laboratory

Role Summary

As a laboratory technician / technical assistant (m/f/d) with us...

• You will process food samples independently and on time using different methods (e.g. titrimetry, photometry, volumetry, polarimetry, gravimetry, etc.)
• you are responsible for sample preparation, extraction and purification
• You document the completed process sections and maintain the data in the in-house laboratory information system (LIMS)
• you carry out quality assurance measures
• you take part in interlaboratory tests/laboratory comparison studies
• You support the optimization of laboratory processes and the development of further procedures in collaboration with the respective specialist departments

Requirements

You...

• you have successfully completed training as a laboratory technician (chemistry, biology, dairy, etc.) or as a technical assistant (CTA, BTA, etc.) (m/f/d)
• have initial knowledge of analytics
• you have good spoken and written knowledge of German (at least B2) and ideally advanced knowledge of English
• are good at using MS Office (Excel, Outlook) - you may even have had some initial experience with a laboratory information system (LIMS).
• you are motivated to support other departments, embrace changes and learn new things
• You can work flexibly, including in shifts (up to a maximum of 10 p.m.) or staggered working hours (in some areas).
