Demonstrate your know-how and become part of our team in Ludwigshafen as a Lab Compute Analyst (all genders)
Specifically, this means
Supporting scientific business partners in all areas related to the provision, management, maintenance and effective business use of IT systems and laboratory equipment
Close coordination with business relationship managers, solution architects and other technology partners in the development and implementation of IT solutions in the laboratory environment, ensuring system integration, data storage as well as compliance and security controls
Guidance of external service providers or contractors who take on lab compute tasks in projects or provide corresponding services
Knowledge of existing laboratory equipment and technologies in the respective business area and use of this knowledge to support the creation and maintenance of solution roadmaps
Translating business requirements into technical requirements, assessing the feasibility of solutions and recommending suitable new or existing IT solutions, ensuring requirements fulfillment throughout project implementation
Coordinate technical activities for computing devices, including routine maintenance, problem resolution, inventory management, rollouts, and post-implementation support
Requirements
This is how you make the difference
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, life science or a comparable field or equivalent IT specialist training and several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in a laboratory environment in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
- Sound IT knowledge of Windows operating systems, workstations, servers, laboratory equipment and IT networks
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills combined with a detailed way of working
- Ability to work in a team and a customer-oriented way of working as well as the ability to work interculturally across time zones
- Fluent English and German skills, written and oral
