Kitchen assistant with experience (m/f/d) in airline catering at DO & CO in Freising, BY, Germany.

Role Summary

• Coordination and management of the kitchen helpers (in the pantry)
• Assisting with daily preparation work and food production in the hot and cold kitchen (mice en place)
• Supporting the chefs and all kitchen staff
• Arranging the food according to the specifications of the various airlines
• Keeping the workplace clean
• Compliance with hygiene regulations according to HACCP and our internal quality standards

Requirements

• Experience in the catering industry, preferably in large kitchens or canteens
• Many years of experience as a production assistant, kitchen helper, kitchen worker or
• Understanding of the requirements and processes in the kitchen, knowledge of goods and products
• Reliable and independent way of working
• Strong communication skills, resilience, flexibility
• Flawless police clearance certificate, ideally background check in accordance with Section 7 Luft - SIG (Aviation Security Act)
• B driving license is an advantage
