Junior Managers Program (Trainee) - Start your leadership journey in IT

Role Summary

Ready to change the IT world? We are looking for technology-enthusiastic master's graduates with a desire to create to shape Bosch's digital transformation with us in the Junior Managers Program. If you're passionate about data, a strategic thinker, and passionate about creating an outstanding leadership career, we want to hear from you.

Over an intensive journey of 12-24 months, you will rotate through the most important areas of our digital organization in Germany and abroad. Your mission is to gain a deep understanding of our business and the corresponding digital strategy, while building deep expertise in networking and developing digital business models regarding global IT infrastructure, cloud technologies and the use of customer-oriented platforms and software solutions. You will work on and lead high-impact projects, be mentored by experienced leaders, and gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies that are already redefining our industry.

Responsibilities

What you will learn and develop with us

• You will learn how a tech company's global IT strategy is linked to business goals to enable data-driven decisions and new digital business models.
• You will actively shape the cloud transformation roadmap by leading the migration of enterprise applications and evaluating innovative cloud services for our internal and external customers.

You will work with the latest tech stacks and agile methods to design web services, microservice architectures and data pipelines that form the backbone of our digital products, as well as with your personal mentor at management level on your strategic development in order to specifically prepare you for your future role as a leader in the technology environment at Bosch.

Requirements

Your academic foundation: A very good (full-time) master's degree in (business) computer science, (technical) business administration, industrial engineering or a related field. Your focus is on topics such as cloud technologies, web services, IoT, big data, AI, software and/or data analytics. Maybe you already have an MBA, PhD or gained some professional experience.

• Your enthusiasm for digital worlds: You are naturally curious and willing to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and contexts. Initial experience with digitalization projects is a big plus.
• Your eye for the big picture: You find it fascinating to understand how a global company works and are motivated to connect digital initiatives with company goals.
• Your understanding of human-centric leadership: You live by the conviction that outstanding results only come from empowering people. With emotional intelligence and empathy, you will create an environment in which technology unlocks human potential and contributes to the success of the entire team.

You think strategically and shape the future: You recognize the big picture, derive a clear vision from it as a leader and develop the roadmap that will get us there. You have already been able to gain valuable initial insights into the software or I(o)T environment in practice, including in medium-sized companies or start-ups. You also have practical experience in using one or more programming languages such as Java, C, Python, Matlab, or similar.

• Your continuous development: You will use your ability to learn quickly in our dynamic environment every day and thus continuously develop yourself - a growth mindset that we actively promote.
• Your linguistic fluency: You communicate fluently in English and have good knowledge of German (B2 level) in order to move confidently in our international and local environment.
