Attorney Consultant

Role Summary

• Ensure compliance with labor, tax, corporate and commercial regulations
• Provide daily legal support to internal departments regarding operational, labor and corporate issues
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving compliance, vendor agreements, employment-related documentation and internal processes
• Participate in bilingual meetings and discussions involving legal or contractual issues when necessary
• Provide legal advice and guidance on Brazilian laws, regulations and compliance requirements
• Support the identification and mitigation of legal and compliance risks in the company's operations
• Assist with compliance initiatives related to labor, commercial, privacy and corporate issues
• Monitor and monitor judicial and administrative processes in coordination with external law firms
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and memoranda
• Prepare reports, summaries and bilingual legal communications for internal stakeholders
• Support interactions between local teams and global stakeholders when legal coordination is required
• Monitor relevant changes in Brazilian legislation and regulations that may impact the business
• Maintain organized legal documentation and support legal operational controls
• Monitor and advise on compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD)

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Training in Law with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Previous experience in corporate legal departments or law firms, preferably supporting international or cross-border business operations
• Strong knowledge of contracts, compliance, Brazilian labor legislation, corporate governance and cross-border corporate/legal support
• Experience in supporting internal stakeholders on corporate legal matters
• Familiarity with legal technology tools and document management systems
• Experience in coordinating external consultancy and legal suppliers
• Experience supporting multinational or global business environments
• Service and Governance Structure
• This position operates under Hand Talk /Sorenson legal and corporate governance guidelines
• All legal interpretations and strategic legal guidance must follow Sorenson/AST legal governance and approval flows
• Works in coordination with external consultancy and global legal leadership, when applicable
• This role provides operational and corporate legal support and is not intended to serve as lead litigation counsel or independent strategic legal authority
