Role Summary
Planning, controlling and implementing IT projects with a focus on company-wide transformation and platform initiatives (e.g. cloud migrations, data center consolidations, introduction of central applications)
- Defining project goals, milestones, resources and schedules as well as ensuring compliance with time, budget and quality goals
- Control of interdisciplinary project teams as well as integration and control of several external implementation partners in complex project constellations
- Ensuring a transparent flow of information between departments, IT, external partners and management stakeholders
- Identification, evaluation and control of project, dependency and transformation risks including deriving suitable measures
- Creation of status reports, decision templates and appropriate reporting up to the management level
- Controlling multiple parallel project strands including dependencies and ensuring suitable governance and decision-making structures
- Responsibility for planning and implementing transitions into operations (e.g. cutover, go-live and hypercare phases)
Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or business administration
- Several years of experience in IT project management, ideally in leading complex, cross-departmental transformation projects
- Proven experience in at least one of the following project types: cloud migrations, data center transformation/consolidation or introduction of enterprise-wide platforms or central applications
- Experience in managing projects with multiple, parallel project strands, high organizational and technical complexity as well as the integration and control of external service providers
- Experience in setting up and applying project governance and reporting structures
- Sound knowledge of classic and agile project management methods (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident demeanor towards various stakeholders including management level
- Technical understanding of modern IT landscapes (e.g. cloud, platform and integrated system architectures)
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German as well as good knowledge of English
