Role Summary

As an IT requirements manager (m/f/d), you will support us in the public sector and work in demanding digitalization projects at the federal level - especially in the environment of federal ministries and federal authorities.

You take responsibility for requirements management in complex IT and transformation projects in the public sector

Your central tasks include collecting, structuring and documenting professional, technical and organizational requirements for IT systems and processes

Business and administrative processes are analyzed, modeled and optimized together with the specialist departments and IT, for example as part of actual/target analyzes or with BPMN

You act as an interface between business, IT implementation, architecture, project management and external stakeholders

You actively support the prioritization, quality assurance and governance of requirements throughout the entire project life cycle

You will be involved in administrative digitalization projects and will be involved in programs and projects such as the Online Access Act (OZG), register modernization and the once-only principle as well as e-files, VBS and DMS

In addition, you will be involved in conceptions, technical coordination, tenders as well as implementation and review phases

Consulting means flexibility, which is why your project work takes place across Germany depending on the customer and project situation - in the office, at the customer's site or in the home office

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in (business) computer science, administrative information technology or a comparable course of study
  • You have several years of experience in IT requirements management and project work in the public sector
  • You are characterized by very good knowledge of process recording, analysis and modeling, for example with BPMN as well as technical process and data models
  • Ideally, you have gained experience in digitalization projects for federal ministries and/or federal authorities
  • You have a sound understanding of administrative digitalization and the federal framework
  • Knowledge of programs such as OZG, register modernization, FIM, NOOTS, e-file, VBS or DMS is an advantage
  • An analytical and structured way of working as well as strong communication skills when dealing with different stakeholders are among your strengths
  • You have very good knowledge of German at least at C1 level as well as good knowledge of English
