Role Summary

For the ReDesign to Cost (ReDTC) area, we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) from September 2026 for a period of at least 6 months to support our team in Regensburg.
Participate in regular events for students, such as
our regulars' table, lunch together to network and exchange ideas or get to know the city of Regensburg on a city tour

Responsibilities
Your tasks include
- Supporting the project manager (m/f/d) with administrative tasks, independent setup, tracking and support of project-related topics
- Support for time-limited topics, such as case studies, workshops or cross-disciplinary collaboration with other departments
- Continuous improvement and revision of the ReDTC intranet presence, monthly reporting etc.
- Definition and programming of "small tools/databases", including automatic routines for evaluating larger amounts of data (e.g. in MS Excel, VBA or Power Bl, etc.)
Requirements
Are you wondering whether you are suitable for the internship in the ReDesign to Cost area? Here are key qualifications we are looking for:
You are studying in the field of automotive, industrial engineering, electronics, mechatronics, microsystems technology, business informatics or a comparable field of study so that you have fundamental aspects of our area of responsibility
- If you have experience designing and manufacturing electronic components, that would be great
- You should be familiar with MS Office and have a good knowledge of common programs
- Good German and fluent English skills, both spoken and written, are absolutely necessary for us
- In addition to these professional requirements, we also look for certain characteristics and skills:
- You are a person with a high level of commitment, a lot of initiative and a quick comprehension and can be enthusiastic about many topics
- Creativity comes naturally to you and helps you find unconventional solutions
- You are independent, goal-oriented and structured and know how to work effectively without losing track of things
Very well-developed communication skills and the ability to work in a team are particularly important to us - after all, we always have to work together on solutions
