Role Summary

• Independent outpatient gynecological and obstetric work in a group practice
• Responsible management of the consultation hours with a high degree of medical autonomy
• Long-term support of the existing patient base
• No practice services, no night or weekend services in the outpatient area
• Referral of births and surgical procedures as requested
• Optional: inpatient, surgical and/or obstetric work at the University Hospital of Bern
• Carrying out special consultation hours depending on interests and qualifications
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration within the team and with external specialist departments

Requirements

• Specialist title in gynecology and obstetrics (FMH or MEBEKO-recognized)
• Experience in an outpatient setting is an advantage; Inpatient or surgical experience not mandatory
• Independent, structured and patient-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility and communicative demeanor
• Interest in long-term work in a multicultural, collegial practice environment

About the Company

The Schönburg group practice in Bern is an established, centrally located practice with a focus on primary care as well as gynecological and obstetric care.

Our multicultural team consists of two general practitioners, two gynecologists (including a mentor/specialist), an endocrinologist and a nutritionist who work closely together. This interdisciplinary setup ensures a wide range of technical expertise and a pleasant, supportive working atmosphere.

The practice has an existing patient base that allows for immediate, varied work. Modern infrastructure, an internal laboratory and a dedicated practice team support you in your work and create a professional and motivating working environment in the center of Bern.

A special feature of this position is the opportunity to combine outpatient work in the practice with low-percentage inpatient work at the University Hospital of Bern - according to your wishes. This model offers professional diversity, clear structures and at the same time a high level of flexibility.
