Role Summary

Training to become a qualified nursing specialist takes 2-3 years, depending on previous training

Responsibility for the care and support of people in different life spans.

• Professional responsibility and discussion of the nursing process
• Accompanying patients and their relatives in difficult situations
• Close collaboration between intra- and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• A sense of responsibility, physical and psychological resilience and a quick comprehension
• Service orientation, patience and sensitivity in dealing with people
• Enjoyment of nursing and medical-technical activities and teamwork
• good manners as well as adaptability and communication skills
• Completed vocational apprenticeship with federal certificate Certificate of competency (health specialist EFZ is an advantage) or a school qualification FMS or Matura
• Passed or ongoing aptitude test (the form can be downloaded directly from bz-gs.ch)
