ROLE OBJECTIVE
- Develop new growth initiatives and business opportunities from scratch, identifying relevant market problems and needs, designing experiments to validate solutions and building business cases that can evolve into new products, channels or business units.
- The success of the Growth Manager is measured, in addition to campaigns and demand generation, by their ability to discover, test and validate new sources of growth for the business, converting hypotheses into concrete and scalable opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify new growth opportunities based on the analysis of clients, market, competition, trends and internal data.
- Develop new business initiatives from scratch, from the definition of the opportunity to its validation.
- Design and execute experiments to validate product, market, channel, pricing and business model hypotheses.
- Define success criteria, metrics and KPIs to evaluate each initiative and make decisions based on results.
- Build business cases for validated initiatives, including market potential, expected impact, feasibility and necessary resources.
- Work transversally with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Finance and Technology teams to develop and test new initiatives.
- Design and coordinate go-to-market strategies for new products, services or segments.
- Analyze the results of experiments, identify learnings and decide when to iterate, scale or stop an initiative.
- Identify optimization and growth opportunities within existing products, segments and channels.
- Follow up on initiatives that demonstrate potential until achieving a repeatable and scalable model that can become a new line or business unit.
- Stay up to date on market trends, new technologies, competition and changes in customer behavior that can generate new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Administration, Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related fields.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Growth, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Business Strategy, Product Growth or similar roles, preferably in startups or scale-ups.
- Experimentation mentality: Ability to identify opportunities, formulate hypotheses, design experiments and make decisions based on results.
- Analytical and business thinking: Ability to analyze data, growth metrics, funnels, channels and opportunities to identify initiatives with potential impact.
- Autonomy and execution: High proactivity, sense of urgency and ability to develop initiatives from scratch, work with uncertainty and take projects from idea to validation.
- Cross-functional work: Ability to collaborate with Marketing, Product, Commercial, RevOps, Finance, Operations and Technology teams.
- Desirable: Advanced Portuguese.
