FMEA Moderator (m/w/d) - Automotive (BENSHEIM, HE, DE, 64625)

As our FMEA moderator (m/f/d), you play a crucial role in ensuring effective risk identification and mitigation throughout product and process development.

This position can be filled completely remotely from Germany.

Requirements

Take on a key role in an interdisciplinary development team and support the planning, facilitation and documentation of design and process FMEA workshops to ensure effective risk identification and mitigation

• Create product and process risk reports that meet automotive standards and customer requirements
• Monitor the effectiveness of FMEA measures, ensure their timely implementation and escalate delays if necessary
• Develop company-specific FMEA modules to support standardization and improvement of risk analysis processes
• Regularly review and update FMEAs and incorporate lessons learned into product design and production processes

What to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on design and process FMEA
• In-depth knowledge of FMEA methodology and standards (AIAG-VDA, ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Demonstrated experience with APIS IQRM Pro FMEA software
• Excellent communication skills in English (German an advantage) with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to various stakeholders
• Strong facilitation skills with experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams to promote communication, problem solving and continuous improvement
• Team player with collaborative skills who can work effectively across functions and cultures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, lead multiple FMEA meetings and tackle complex problems
• Willingness to travel within the EMIA region to support FMEA activities
