Role Summary

During your work, you will develop an innovative measurement system consisting of inertial sensors, specifically for motion capture in highly dynamic vehicle environments.

The design of a suitable PCB with all necessary interfaces and a robust housing is your responsibility.

You carefully select the optimal MEMS sensors and other electronic components.

You independently implement a prototype structure of the measuring system you have developed.

You integrate the system into a real test vehicle and carry out comprehensive tests.

You will also plan and carry out measurements on the test bench and in the vehicle to validate performance.

Last but not least, you will develop advanced sensor fusion algorithms to optimally process the data.

Requirements

  • Education: Study in the field of engineering or natural sciences with a specialization in electrical engineering, sensor technology, microsystems technology or comparable with very good academic achievements
  • Experience and know-how: Experience in the design of PCBs and their programming; Knowledge of the selection of electronic components and sensors; ideally a disposition for practical work
  • Personality and way of working: you work independently on complex tasks and structure your projects independently in order to achieve precise results
  • Everyday work: hybrid working environment with office days and mobile working by arrangement
  • Languages: business fluent German and English
