Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified and meticulous electrical technician to join our team in Santiago, Dominican Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, carrying out new installations and providing exceptional field support service. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and customers to ensure that all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards. • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in plant facilities and at customer headquarters. • Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns in equipment installed in the field, providing a fast and professional assistance service.

Perform new electrical installations in accordance with specifications and safety protocols • Resolve complex electrical problems using your analytical skills and technical knowledge • Document all maintenance activities, repairs and incidents accurately and transparently • Immediately report any equipment breakdown, safety issue or contractual breach to your supervisor

Recommend equipment replacement and process improvements that enhance quality standards and operational efficiency • Conduct a quarterly physical inventory of electrical equipment and parts in coordination with administrative staff • Ensure compliance with equipment loan agreements and contractual obligations at all customer facilities • Maintain organized records of work orders, technical documentation, and equipment specifications

Collaborate with team members and customers to resolve issues efficiently and professionally • Comply with all electrical safety regulations and industry standards in the performance of duties

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Electromechanical technician certification or equivalent qualification in the electrical field will be an advantage • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in electrical maintenance, repair and installation • Demonstrated experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to analyze complex electrical problems

Experience providing field technical assistance and customer service • Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols, regulations and industry standards • Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics and equipment documentation • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail • Strong communication skills in Spanish and English; ability to document work clearly and concisely

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain professional relationships with clients • Flexibility to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules as needed • Problem-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client facilities when necessary • Ability to work autonomously and make firm decisions, always keeping safety as a priority
