Role Summary

As a Procurement Specialist – Indirect Procurement, you play a critical role in ensuring that our company always has the goods and services needed to run its business smoothly and efficiently. You will manage a wide range of indirect procurement categories and work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop high-quality and economical procurement solutions that support our corporate goals.

In your role, you control the entire procurement process - from selecting suitable suppliers to contract negotiations and operational order processing. You will ensure compliance with our internal guidelines and established procurement standards. At the same time, you will build strong relationships with your internal contacts, understand their requirements and identify potential to optimize costs, further develop the performance of our suppliers and continuously improve our procurement processes.

Requirements

About your tasks

  • You manage the procurement of indirect goods and services and ensure on-time delivery, economical solutions and compliance with our company standards.
  • You work closely with internal stakeholders, understand their requirements and use them to develop appropriate procurement strategies and sustainable procurement solutions.
  • You support the selection, evaluation and further development of our suppliers to ensure high quality and reliable supply.
  • You conduct commercial negotiations and accompany contract discussions in order to achieve attractive conditions and long-term successful partnerships.
  • You drive the continuous optimization of our procurement processes, ensure clean documentation and identify potential for cost optimization and sustainable value creation.

About you

  • You have completed a degree in business administration, supply chain management or a comparable field - or have appropriate commercial training with relevant professional experience.
  • Ideally, you have 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management or a comparable corporate function.
  • You are familiar with procurement processes and supplier management and recognize potential for optimizing costs and making processes more efficient.
  • You work confidently with data and MS Office applications - especially Excel - and impress with your structured, careful and independent way of working.
  • You communicate confidently in English and enjoy working with different internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus.
