Senior Manager Logistik (m/w/d) in Sevenum (bei Venlo)

Role Summary

As Senior Manager Logistics at Redcare Pharmacy, he is responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale warehouse logistics processes at the Sevenum site and ensuring secure, compliant and cost-efficient processing on a large scale. The role has overall responsibility for operational performance across multiple logistics areas, translating strategic goals into actionable plans and managing productivity, quality and service levels using a KPI-based management approach.

With responsibility for a large indirect workforce, the position ensures a safe working environment, a resilient and robust leadership culture, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. The success of the role is reflected in a well-developed leadership structure that enables operational stability, achieving target productivity and cost targets while ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Management, coaching and further development of direct employees and their management teams, including effective personnel and deployment planning for up to 300 indirect employees.
• Overall responsibility for the end-to-end logistics processes in assigned warehouse areas to achieve quality, productivity, cost and service level goals.
• Responsible for managing operational performance based on KPIs and ensuring timely corrective actions and sustainable performance improvements.
• Ensuring full compliance with occupational safety, labor law and quality requirements, including ISO 9001 and GDP.
• Participation in and management of logistics projects, including the implementation of new processes or operational concepts.
• Structured reporting and transparent communication to the (Associate) Director Logistics on performance, risks and improvement measures.

Requirements

About you

• Completed studies in the field of logistics, supply chain, business administration or a comparable commercial qualification.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in logistics or warehouse operations, including responsibility in a senior operational role.
• Demonstrated experience leading large operational teams across multiple management levels.
• Strong ability to manage KPI-based performance and optimize productivity.
• Sound understanding of lean methods and continuous improvement processes.
• Fluent spoken and written English skills.
