Role Summary

During your thesis, you will model electric drive systems using AI methods.

You will also develop new control and learning methods for electric drives using machine learning and model-based methods.

You design an adaptive control taking into account the estimation of an unknown system behavior.

In addition, you implement and validate new procedures in MATLAB or Simulink.

Finally, the prototype implementation is optionally carried out on the test bench using the rapid prototyping system dSpace.

Requirements

  • Education: Studies in the field of electrical engineering, technical cybernetics or engineering
  • Experience and know-how: in the areas of system dynamics and control technology as well as confident use of MATLAB and Simulink
  • Personality and way of working: as a reliable team player, you always act in a structured manner and like to take the initiative independently
  • Languages: good German and English
